Ok for the first tutorial we will be achieving this effect:

in Photoshop. So let'ssss go

1. Make your blend.
2. Go to Layer >> Duplicate Layer.
3. Go To Image >> Adjustments >> Brightness/Contrast and set Brightness to -13 and Contrast to 37
4. Set the layer to "Luminosity"
5. Duplicate again, and set to soft light. If it's too dark, then skip this step. Or try using screen.
6. Paste on this texture and set it to pin light. Erase the parts on the faces with either the eraser tool, or with the History Brush Tool and any type of small, grungy brush, like this.
7. Paste on this texture and set to lighten. Once again, erase parts that cover the faces.
8. Paste on this texture and set to pin light, and erase
9. Now the text. Follow these steps:
10. Select the T, and make a text box and type your text with Arial. Click on the Checkmark at the top, and then the clipboard that appears.
11. See the AV icon with the arrow pointing 2 ways? Set it to -100
12. Position it to where you want it, and make a new layer.
13. Move the new layer underneath the text layer.
14. If you don't already have this brush with your Photoshop, install it.
15. Select the brush tool, and the color you want underneath your text, and just move it around until it's how you want.

You should end up with something like this
